Have Questions?

How do you make your juices?

Cold-pressed is best! And we use one. Our Hydraulic Cold Press liberates the nutritional enzymes from the fibers of the produce and then puts them under extreme pressure. As the hydraulic press does not force air into the juice during pressing, the juice does not decay as fast, so you're left with a higher mineral content.

Do you use organic produce?

Yes & no. We support both local and organic farming practices, however on items like grapefruits, lemons, oranges…things that have a natural protectant, no. We ensure our twelve most-used ingredients (the dirty dozen) are organic. We strive to keep the same policy with other ingredients, availability permitting.

How long do the juices last?

Cold pressing ensures the most nutritious and live juice possible. Keep it with confidence for up 5 days.

Why don't you give all the juices at once?

We designed our cleanse schedule to ensure you get the freshest juice possible – one pick-up for the Three-Day Cleanse, two for the Five-Day and three for the Seven-Day.

Does it really matter what order I drink the juices?

Absolutely. We really thought this through. The juice cleanse is formulated to work at detoxifying your body in the proper order. You should be drinking a juice every 2-3 hours.

Which cleanse is best for me?

It's really up to you. But we strongly urge you to select your duration based on your activity level and your goals. Don't jump into the deep end before you're ready. Your budget obviously plays a role as well.

What happens if I am allergic to a certain ingredient?

At this time we are unable to cater to specific allergy requirements. In the near future we will offer alternatives.

Will I lose weight?

Unlike other cleanses, this really isn't the goal of the juice cleanse. We want you to feel better mentally and physically. However, most people find that they lose a few pounds.

What are cleansing side effects?

When toxins are released from your body you can experience headaches, irritability, skin eruptions, achy muscles or cold- and flu-like symptoms. With proper hydration (lots of water) and rest you can reduce or eliminate them.

Can I eat while on The Cleanse?

No.

Am I going to feel hungry? What happens if I cheat?

Some do. Some don't. If you have the urge to eat, it will be more out of habit than a need for more nourishment. The juice cleanse is formulated to give you instant energy and enough calories to feel satiated. And the beauty of juice is that it is absorbed almost immediately into your body. If you absolutely positively need to cheat, try to eat raw, fresh vegetables and fruit.

Where will I get my protein?

Plants are a fantastic source of protein. Out of the 23 amino acids (the building blocks of proteins) we need to eat, only nine of them are essential meaning that we need to get them from our diet. By consuming a variety of plants, your body will be digesting protein throughout the day. Plus it is actually easier for the body to extract and absorb nutrients from liquefied fruits and vegetable than it is in their raw and cooked forms.

Is there a lot of sugar in The Juice Cleanse juices?

Yes, there are natural sugars found in juice. They help you feel energized and refreshed after each juice. We have chosen fruits and vegetable that have less natural sugar in them but if you are someone with a pre-diabetic condition or diabetes the juice cleanse is not for you.

What are the benefits of juice over raw fruits and vegetables?

Instant nourishment. Quite often we don't remember to chew our food well and our saliva doesn't get a real chance to mix with the food and start to digest it. Juicing is like drinking a predigested meal and the nutrients are instantly available for use by our bodies.

Is it ok to exercise while on the juice cleanse?

Yes! As you'll have lots of energy and a clear head, you're going to want to move around. Exercise will also help you eliminate toxins so don't be afraid to break a sweat. But listen to your body. If you feel weak, take that as a sign that you need to get some more rest - you may have more build up than you thought.

If you're pregnant, nursing or have a pre-existing medical condition, it's best to avoid cleansing, also if you're feeling overly stressed or overwhelmed.
